The Horn Dance, originating from Abbots Bromley in Staffordshire, found its way into the heart of England - specifically to our beloved Bromley. This traditional dance became a cherished part of local festivities and added another layer to the town's cultural heritage. Beckenham Place and grounds stood as a testament to grandeur during c1790. Its beauty was admired by all who visited or called it home – a reflection of the elegance that permeated throughout Bromley. High Street boasted an array of businesses eager to serve residents' needs; advertisements lined its streets showcasing goods and services available at one's fingertips. Bromley Workhouse served as both a reminder of hardship endured by some while also highlighting resilience amidst adversity. It stands as a symbol representing compassion within our community. Five Bells PH captured on camera immortalized moments shared among friends over pints – laughter echoing through generations within Greater London's boundaries. Lastly, engraved forever is The First London County Council - an institution that shaped modern governance while leaving an indelible mark on our town.
