Mr Joseph Arthur Walter Perkins, a 24 year old experimental chemist, left his home in Erith, Kent to ride across Europe and the Sahara by motorcycle to Cape Town. This will be the first time ever if he succeeds. He is equipped with all sorts of equipment, from binoculars, revolver and rifle - to spare cans of oil and petrol and a specially built rear wheel to take the extra weight. His father saw him off.

Interesting points are the snorkle added to the exhaust pipe and an intake filter on the top of the fuel tank to enable safe river crossings. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
