Non-contrast CT scan of the head of a 70-year-old diabetic woman found unresponsive at home on the floor. The study reveals a large area of intracerebral hemorrhage in the left temporoparietal region extending into the basal ganglia region. Maximally it measures 8.6 x 6.04 cm. There is associated edema in the adjacent brain parenchyma. Approximately 2 cm midline shift is noted to the right side with subfalcine herniation. There is intraventricular hemorrhage noted with hemorrhage into the lateral ventricles, the third and the fourth ventricles. A second area of hemorrhage is seen posterior to the region of the pons in the cerebellum, on the left side. There is also evidence of uncal herniation to the right. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
