Framed Print of Soft coral polyps (Clavularia sp. )

Soft coral polyps (Clavularia sp.). This coral has stinging cells on its tentacles that kill any organisms within the plankton it feeds on. The plankton is then passed to the mouth, which is located in the centre of the coral polyp. Photographed off Maratua Island, in the Sulawesi Sea, Indonesia.
