Sodium. Chunk of the reactive alkali metal sodium (Na), cut with a knife to reveal its shiny surface. Sodium reacts rapidly with the water and oxygen in the air, forming the tarnished oxide and hydroxide surface seen on the uncut surfaces. It is not found in its elemental form in nature, due to its reactivity, and is mainly found in the salt (sodium chloride) of salt deposits and sea water

Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
