Lanherne was formerly the Manor House of the Arundell family and home of the prominent Catholic Sir John Arundell in the 16th century. It became a place of refuge for many priests during the Reformation. In 1794 the manor was given to the Carmelite nuns and still runs as a convent. Photographer: Unknown. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
