Framed Prints From Royal Cornwall Museum

Framed Print of Millstone, Lostwithiel, Cornwall. July 1987

Cornwall Council employees, on clearing a gully in Tanhouse Road, unearthed a 5 feet diameter millstone. The clearing of the gully will hopefully prevent further flooding to Queen Street at the bottom of Tanhouse Road. The three workmen, from left to right are Dennis Martin, Paul Crago and Martin Wherry. The millstone was later erected in the garden of the Mill Garden flats, which stands on the site of a mill.
