Meet Togus, the Master of Tree Napping!

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this print captured by Tim Laman, we witness the incredible Tapanuli orangutan, Togus, attempting to catch some well-deserved Z's high up in a tree. With his majestic flanged appearance and wise eyes, it's clear that Togus is no ordinary napper. As an adult male of the critically endangered species Pongo tapanuliensis, Togus knows how to make the most out of his resting time. Despite being surrounded by the lush greenery of Batang Toru Forest in North Sumatran Province, Indonesia - a true biodiversity hotspot - he finds solace and tranquility on his chosen branch. With a touch of humor and charm, this photograph perfectly captures the struggle many can relate to: finding peace amidst life's chaos. Even for an orangutan like Togus! As he skillfully balances himself between branches with one arm draped over his head and another supporting him against the trunk, we can't help but admire his determination to find comfort wherever he goes. It seems even great apes need their beauty sleep! So next time you're feeling tired or overwhelmed by your own daily challenges, take inspiration from our friend Togus here. Find your own little slice of paradise – whether it be a cozy bed or a peaceful spot under a shady tree – and embrace your inner nap champion!
