Monkeying Around - Beti, the Juvenile Daredevil of Batang Toru Forest!

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this print by Tim Laman, we catch a glimpse of the mischievous and adventurous side of Beti, a juvenile female Tapanuli Orangutan. Hanging effortlessly from the trees in the lush rainforest of North Sumatran Province, Indonesia, Beti showcases her acrobatic skills with grace and charm. With her playful antics and curious gaze, it's clear that Beti is enjoying every moment in her natural habitat. As a member of one of the most critically endangered species on our planet, she represents hope for conservation efforts aimed at protecting these incredible creatures. Beti's vibrant orange fur stands out against the backdrop of dense foliage - a testament to her resilience amidst threats faced by orangutans due to deforestation and illegal hunting.
