Framed Prints From Memory Lane

Framed Print of Sitting on the lock gate in the Bancroft gardens, Stratford

Sitting on the lock gate in the Bancroft gardens, Stratford, is a popular tourist attraction. And most of them are probably unaware that the lock itself is the link between the Avon and the canal, and that the gardens are sited on the old loading wharves. Here Bernice Farrell and Pat Ireland are enjoying the view. July 1958. © Mirrorpix
