Framed Print of Life aboard the 3 masted Penang. 111 days is rather a long time on the ocean

Life aboard the 3 masted Penang. 111 days is rather a long time on the ocean, and a little light music and a fine day encourages the seamen on to sing. Pictured on the main deck of the barque, Penang, as she left Falmouth for Dublin with her cargo of grain from Australia. Sea chanties in modern style with gramophone accompaniment. The singer wears a sou wester, having lost two caps in gales. June 1935. © Mirrorpix
