And judging from the picture here it obviously is the truth. Some of the prettiest undies I ve ever seen were modelled at Londons Cafe de Paris on Thursday last in a mammoth display of new lingerie designs many of which have been imported from France. In the audience - trade buyers and Press. On the platform - some of the loveliest model girls that gay Paree has to offer, specially flown over for the occasion. Bianca Faye, for instance, with vital statistics of 90-55-90. (Centimetres, of course, which correspond to 36-20-36 in our language and inches). Confident and glamorous, she glided down the room dressed in a little black lace job that resembled a bikini, only less so. Was she shy about appearing in such scanty scanties? Wouldn t they prefer her to break into the fur coat section? A beau who happened to be with Bianca at the time said no, he didn t mind at all. He was very pleased because she looked so pretty in her girdle. I always said Frenchmen were broadminded. Designed and made by the French firm of Lejaby, Biancas bikini is in black nylon lace over turquoise. The bra costs 46s. 6d. The pants are 29s. and there is a matching suspender belt for 31s. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees!
