Filming of Oliver! at Shepperton studios. The scene which should have been shot in mid winter was being shot in August with a ton of featherlight polystyrene strewn about to represent the snowfall and artificial icicles hanging from ledges and pipes etc. Three young ladies, Penny Allan, Irene French, and Dinny Jones, all singers who are taking part in the film decided to get into bikini s, snowball Harry Secombe and generally frolic in the snow. 3rd August 1967. © Mirrorpix
