Framed Print of The Berlin Wall was a concrete and earth barrier built by the Soviet Union

The Berlin Wall was a concrete and earth barrier built by the Soviet Union and German Democratic Republic (GDR, East Germany) that enclosed the city of West Berlin, separating it from East Germany, including East Berlin. The Wall included guard towers placed along large concrete walls, and a wide area (later known as the death strip ) that contained anti personnel mine. Circa 1970. © Mirrorpix
