A newlife-saver made a splash at its official launch in West Wales yesterday
A newlife-saver made a splash at its official launch in West Wales yesterday.
The town of New Quay welcomed a new, 16-foot inflatable lifeboat bought with proceeds from a charity concert.
RNLI chaplain for New Quay the Rev David Lloyd held a service of dedication for the single-engine boat at the seaside station.
But the dinghy has already proved worth its salt with eight rescues, saving 24 lives, since its arrival at the
station a month ago.
