EDITORS COMMENTS
Captured in this iconic print from 1970, we witness the elegant Princess Margaret and her beloved son Viscount Linley as they embark on a remarkable journey. Departing from London Airport (LAP), their destination is none other than the breathtaking island of Sardinia, accompanied by the esteemed Aga Khan and his wife. The image showcases a moment frozen in time, encapsulating the grace and poise that defined British royalty during the 20th century. Princess Margaret, known for her impeccable style and regal demeanor, exudes an air of sophistication as she boards the private aircraft alongside her young son.
