Fire safety competition winners were given a tour of Huddersfield fire station. Two competitions, run by the Early Learning Centre, encouraged children as young as three years old to be safety-conscious. Prizes included a bundle of Fireman Sam goodies. Winners and runners up are pictured at the fire station with two fire fighters. Fire safety champions of the future! Young winners of a fire safety competition organized by the Early Learning Centre were treated to an exciting tour of Huddersfield fire station. The competition, aimed at children as young as three years old, encouraged them to be safety-conscious and rewarded their efforts with fantastic Fireman Sam goodies. In this heartwarming print from 5th February 1991, we see the proud winners and runners up standing in front of one of the impressive fire engine cabs alongside two brave firefighters. Their smiles are infectious as they soak in this unforgettable experience. Joining them is Mrs. Pauline Wright from the Early Learning Centre, who played a vital role in organizing these competitions that instilled important life-saving knowledge in our little ones.
