Framed Print of A De Havilland D. H. 4A of Air Transport & Travel Ltd, which made the first daily

A De Havilland D.H.4A of Air Transport and Travel Ltd, which made the first daily international air, service by a British airline when it flew from Hounslow, London and Le Bourget, Paris on 25th August 1919.
These four converted WW1 bombers were used by the company and the first one completed its flight in 2 hours 30 minutes carrying a consignment of grouse, newspapers, leather and Devonshire cream along with G M Stevenson-Reece a newspaper reporter.
The company went into liquidation in December 1920 as a result of subsidized low fares charged by foreign airlines.
