Dave Thomas, 35, from Ilford, found the front of a wrecked Volkswagen van and badly damaged VW microbus in a breakers yard and set about the enormous task of putting the two good pieces together to make a unique VW minibus. The finished product is a squashed but well made unit, which is 52 shorter than a regular VW. Dave believes it is the only one like it in Europe. 29th January 1981. © Mirrorpix

Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
