The Excellence of British engineering has been demonstrated by two old motorcycles undergoing renovation in a council workshop. Despite years of neglects, a tankful of petrol and a little cleaning of points and plugs was all that was needed to start the 600cc engine of a 1952 Panther Sloper. A 1938 Rudge Supersport was coaxed back to life almost as quickly even though a substitute petrol tank had to be rigged up to fuel the 250cc engine. The machines were discovered when Langbaurgh Borough Council began to take stock of museum exhibits which had been forgotten or lost during years of local government change. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
