Framed Print of The enormous scale of the blast and pressure effect from the atomic bomb dropped

The enormous scale of the blast and pressure effect from the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki can be seen in the remains of the Mitsubishi steel works factory, which was three quarters of a mile from the detonation point. The blast and pressure have bent the steel stanchions causing the roof to collapse. Circa September 1945. © Mirrorpix
