A W.S.P.U programme for a Womens Demonstration at the Royal Albert Hall, 28th March 1912. Printed in purple with green pencil attached with green ribbon. Speakers included Annie Kenney, Evelyn Sharp, Israel Zangwill and Elizabeth Robins. Resolution printed inside, condemning policy of the Government to destroy the agitation for the enfranchisement of women. As a result of the militant window smashing campaign at the beginning of March 1912, Emmeline Pankhurst, Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence and Frederick Pethick-Lawrence were arrested and remanded on a charge of conspiracy and were later tried at the Old Bailey.
