Framed Print of Bunty Pulls The Strings by Graham Moffat

Bunty Pulls The Strings a comedy by Graham Mofat (1866 - 1951). It was a huge hit in Londons West End at the Haymarket Theatre from 8th February 1911. It debuted on Broadway in late 1911. The conceit of W. K. Hasedens design is that Bunty is pulling the audience into the Haymarket Theatre, as indeed she did, as the run notched up 617 performances. In the play she pulls the strings because she gets other people to do what she wants. The caption below reads Evenings at 9, Three Matinees Weekly, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday. Date: 1911.
