Framed Print of Mechanical workshop in the 1940s

Mechanical workshop in the 1940s. An elderly man visibly a symbol of quality and knowledge at a pin cutter machine, forming a piece of metal into a useful part for a machine or a car. The lamp seen above the machine is designed by swedish inventor Johan Petter Johansson, 1853-1943, the man behind the adjustable wrench and the pipe wrench. The lamp is called the Triplex-pendle and was introduced to the industries to improve the working conditions in the factories. Sweden 1946 Kristoffersson ref X137-6.
