Lady Arabella Stuart (1575 to 1615), English noblewoman, was considered a possible successor to Queen Elizabeth I and pretender to the throne of her cousin King James I. She secretly married William Seymour, 2nd Duke of Somerset, on 22 June 1610 and was imprisoned. The couple devised an escape plan in which Arabella fled to Lee in Kent, England, in male attire, digital reproduction of a historical model. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
