This print takes us back to the enchanting city of Suzhou, China in 1900. The image showcases the magnificent Woo Men Bridge standing proudly over the Grand Imperial Canal, a vital waterway that has connected communities for centuries. Underwood & Underwood, renowned pioneers of stereoscopic photography, beautifully captured this moment in time on a stereoscopic card. The monochrome tones add an air of nostalgia and highlight the intricate details of both the bridge and canal. In this scene, we see various boats gracefully gliding along the canal's calm waters.
