A dramatic chromolithograph print captures the essence of 19th-century maritime history. The Third Eddystone lighthouse stands tall amidst a turbulent sea, its sturdy presence a beacon of hope against the fury of the storm. Dark clouds swirl above, their rugged peaks stretching towards the heavens like giant fists. In the foreground, waves crash against jagged rocks, sending sprays high into the air as driftwood and other wreckage scatter across the rocky shoreline.
