Feathered Fashionista - House Crow Strikes a Pose in Assam, India!

EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this snapshot captured by FLPA photographer Neil Bowman, we witness the avian equivalent of a supermodel strutting its stuff. Meet the House Crow (Corvus splendens splendens), an adult with an undeniable flair for style and attitude. Perched gracefully on a branch against the stunning backdrop of Assam's natural beauty, this feathery diva showcases its impeccable taste in fashion. With glossy black plumage shimmering under the February sun, it effortlessly steals the spotlight from any other bird around. Native to India and known for their intelligence and adaptability, these corvid celebrities are no strangers to turning heads wherever they go. Their distinctive calls fill the air as they navigate through South Asia's bustling urban landscapes or explore untamed wildernesses. As symbols of resilience and resourcefulness, these House Crows remind us that even in crowded cities or remote corners of nature, there is always room for individuality and self-expression. This particular crow seems to have mastered both art forms flawlessly! So next time you find yourself strolling along Assam's enchanting trails or simply daydreaming about far-off lands like India, let this charismatic creature be your guide into a world where feathers become fabulous attire. Embrace your own unique style just like our fashionable friend here – after all, who says only humans can rock runway-worthy looks?
