EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we are transported to the enchanting landscapes of Lake Naivasha in Kenya. A young woman, aged between 18 and 19 years old, stands amidst a lush forest with her digital camera in hand. Her long brown hair cascades down her back as she focuses on capturing the majestic presence of a Masai giraffe. The Kilimanjaro giraffe, also known as Giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi, gracefully towers above the trees, its elegant form blending harmoniously with the wild surroundings. The woman's passion for photography and love for adventure shine through as she immerses herself in documenting this incredible wildlife encounter. With Mount Kilimanjaro serving as a breathtaking backdrop, our photographer captures not only the beauty of nature but also showcases her own adventurous spirit. Standing alone and absorbed in her craft, she epitomizes both curiosity and respect for these safari animals. This image transports us to an untamed world where humans coexist peacefully with wild creatures. It reminds us of the importance of preserving these natural habitats and cherishing every encounter with Earth's magnificent fauna. Martin Moxter skillfully captures this momentous scene by focusing on the foreground while keeping our photographer unrecognizable. This allows viewers to project themselves into this awe-inspiring setting and embrace their own sense of wonderment towards wildlife photography.
