A ruler is seated on a couch beneath a canopy receiving two ministers; he sits against a gold cushion with his shield under his left arm, holding the stem of a nargila which is tended by a boy. Two courtiers are on the right, one with a green fly-cloth; mauve background. Gouache with gold; on an album leaf with border of pink paper. 215 by 320 mm; page 377 by 252 mm.

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
