The 3rd Battalion 153rd Punjabis, also known as 3rd Battalion 153rd Rifles, was raised in Palestine in the last year of the First World War (1914-1918). The regiment was formed from drafts from existing Indian Army regiments in order to replace British units transferred to the Western Front. The regiment saw action at the Battle of Megiddo. Following its return to India the 3rd Battalion was disbanded in 1922.

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
