The portrait, created by Leon Bakst in 1908, captures her essence with delicate charcoal strokes on paper. Anna Pavlova's elegance and grace are palpable as she gazes into the distance. Her hairband adds a touch of femininity to her already ethereal presence. This sketch perfectly encapsulates the essence of Russian ballet and its ability to transport audiences into a world of enchantment.
