Matthew's expertise shines through this remarkable piece of artistry, which depicts an imagined route for pilgrims journeying from London to Dover on their way to the Holy Land. As we gaze upon this intricate drawing, we are transported into a bygone era when such maps were not only functional but also works of art. The significance of Matthew's work extends beyond its aesthetic appeal.
