The illustration vividly depicts how this blood filtering system is abundantly supplied with capillaries stemming from branches of the renal artery (highlighted in red) and vein (distinguished in blue). At the center-right, an entanglement of capillaries known as the glomerulus is enveloped by Bowman's capsule, represented by its distinctive blue hue. This crucial site serves as a gateway where waste products are filtered out from the blood and channeled into a convoluted tubule depicted in yellow. The process continues as urine becomes concentrated within this tubule, particularly within the thin loop of Henle located at its base.
