In this evocative photograph, Graeme Murty proudly displays the number 300 on a commemorative armband as he leads out the Reading team for their FA Barclays Premiership match against Everton at the Madejski Stadium on the 23rd of December, 2006. The occasion marked a significant milestone in Murty's illustrious career with the Royals, as it was his 300th appearance for the club. Murty, a stalwart defender and a true Reading legend, had joined the team in 1998 and had quickly established himself as a fan favorite with his tenacious defending and leadership qualities.
