Mr Gill, now a student at Liverpool University, is pictured (left) with children of Rawthorpe CofE Infant and Nursery school, who will benefit by £ 85 from the sponsorship raised by running the Glasgow marathon. Helping him count the cash he raised are (from left) Amanda Berry, Wayne McKenna, Jay David, Mansha Ayub, Garry Fleming, Claire Bretton and Kuldeep Singh. The school intends to use his sponsorship money to buy equipment which can be used by both disabled youngsters and the other children. 3rd October 1985
