Every day, Keith patiently provides private English lessons to the hairy little chap in hopes of unlocking his ability to speak. Keith's journey with Cody began when the young orangutan was rejected by his biological mother at Flamingo Park Zoo in Yorkshire. As a zoology graduate studying at Durham University, Keith stepped up and became Cody's surrogate "Mum". Their connection goes beyond words; it is evident in the tender kiss shared between them captured in this photograph.
