This delightfully humorous Edwardian postcard, dated back to the early 20th century, captures the essence of a day at the seaside gone awry for an unsuspecting woman. Dressed in her finest fashionable attire, complete with a large, straw hat adorned with pink roses and a white handkerchief, she stands confidently on the deck of a small boat, waving goodbye to the shore as if embarking on a leisurely sail.
