The print is part of a private collection and represents an amalgamation of two renowned works in natural history. Originally engraved by George Edwards in his acclaimed publications "A Natural History of Uncommon Birds" and "Gleanings of Natural History" this piece was later enhanced and combined with Mark Catesby's work, "A Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands".
