Painted around 1790 by Samuel Drummond (attributed to), this oil on canvas print showcases Andrews' dignified presence and intellectual demeanor. James Pettit Andrews hailed from a distinguished family that acquired Shaw House, an Elizabethan mansion near Newbury, Berkshire in 1750.
