This blue coatee, with scarlet facings and gold embroidery, belonged to William Cludde who joined the Royal Horse Guards in 1799. Cludde served as aide-de-camp to General Sir Baldwin Leighton. He died at Orleton in Shropshire on 21 May 1809 at the age of 24.); © National Army Museum
