When the Prince of Wales inspected the great new world telephone centre at the Faraday building in London he conversed in Spanish with one of the switchboard operators, all of whom are expert linguists. The operator was Miss Marion Hart.The Prince was passing her switchboard when he heard her speaking in Spanish. When she had dealt with the call he chatted with her in the same language, with which he has become familiar during his South American travels.
