The cheque was a " thank you" for the Drums Corps performance at the beginning of last Saturdays concert at Woburn Abbey when Diamond played to more than 51, 000 people. It will be given to the Household Division Funds (Silver Jubilee Appeal), and is the proceeds from the sales of Neil Diamond programmes at the concert. 7th July 1977
