This evocative photograph captures five of the most prominent figures in the motor racing world during the 1929 Five Hundred Miles Race held at the iconic Brooklands circuit. At the top of the image, we see Kaye Don, a skilled driver who took the wheel of a supercharged Sunbeam. Don's intense focus and determination are evident as he prepares for the race.
