Great moment captured in this print as Everton's Yakubu celebrates scoring the first goal for his new team against West Ham United during the Barclays Premier League match at Upton Park on December 15,2007. Yakubu, who had joined Everton from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2007, was making his fifth appearance for the Toffees in the league. The goal came in the 33rd minute, and it was a crucial one as Everton trailed 1-0 at the time. The Nigerian international striker's cool finish from close range after a cross from Leighton Baines leveled the score, and Everton went on to win the game 2-1. The goal was a significant one for Yakubu, who had struggled to find the back of the net in his first few games for Everton. His goal against West Ham boosted his confidence, and he went on to score 11 more goals in the remainder of the season, helping Everton finish fifth in the league.
