The image is believed to have been taken during either the Aston Villa versus Bolton match on February 25,1914, or the WBA versus Bolton game on December 20,1913. In this historic snapshot, we see the players arranged in two rows. Unfortunately, some of their names are missing from the back row. However, it is clear that these individuals were an integral part of this renowned team's success during that era. Moving to the front row, we can identify a few key figures. One notable player is Evan Jones who also represented Wales internationally—an impressive feat for any footballer at that time. Another individual present in this photograph is Joe Smith (please verify), whose contribution to Bolton Wanderers' triumphs cannot be overlooked. Lastly, we have Edward "Ted".
