Henry Thomas Alken (1785-1851) was an English painter and engraver who specialized in sporting art. He is best known for his paintings of horse racing, hunting, coaching and other equestrian scenes. He also painted some landscapes, portraits and genre scenes. Alken was born in London to a family of artists and studied at the Royal Academy Schools from 1805 to 1810.
