Taken in 1990 along the banks of the River Volga in Russia, it depicts a heart-wrenching scene of poisoned fish floating lifelessly on the water's surface. The image serves as a stark reminder of the detrimental impact human activities can have on our environment. The once vibrant and thriving ecosystem has been marred by industrial waste and toxic substances that infiltrate these waters.
