Record low water levels have pushed up power prices across the Balkans and may force local utilities to further boost expensive power imports to meet demand, market participants said on Wednesday. Serbias utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) and Bosnias second largest utility Elektroprivreda RS (EPRS) have already tapped power markets as water levels -- mainly on the Danube, Sava and Drina rivers -- have hit their lowest levels in 30 years.
