The poster, created by North Eastern Railway (NER), is a true testament to the artistic brilliance and attention to detail that characterized railway posters of that era. The focal point of this stunning artwork is none other than the majestic York Minster, standing tall and proud against a backdrop of picturesque landscapes. Its intricate architecture and towering spires are beautifully captured, evoking a sense of awe and reverence for this iconic landmark. In the foreground, we see a knight on horseback galloping through what appears to be an ancient street in York.
